Profile: I am a proudly pierced, tattooed, and otherwise modded cognitive behavioral therapist and personal coach. My areas of special focus are communication and syntactics, Universal logic (as it applies to focused living), and D/s as behavioral and positive psychology within the modern world. I have a keen interest in the study, research, and countering of negative effects of grotesque social and religious influence on the beauty of individual development. In addition to my work in psychology, my hobbies have often taken on a life of their own. I created several original online resources within the anime fandom once I began working online in anime in the early 1990s. My most noted work, The AnimeOnline Network (now offline), was covered in many trade journals and magazines including Bandai's Japanese publication B-Magazine. As an accomplished writer and film critic, my anime reviews won special favor with actors and directors alike during their publication in my original webzine, Animecca Magazine (now offline) which, in addition to being the second oldest magazine dedicated to anime, won several awards including being voted "Best Of The Web" in 1996. Myself and Animecca Magazine have often been credited as the sole entities responsible for the U.S. anime voice actor recognition movement both on and off the internet, having paved the way for U.S. voice actors to begin getting full recognition and focus for their efforts in the anime industry. At the end of 1999, I moved out of the anime fandom circuit, choosing to concentrate less on fan resources and more on various small business ventures including JapaneseSnacks.com which set off an explosive trend being the first online store to ever sell Japanese snack products. I have been watching Asian drama on and off since 2006. I am also a struggling writer, published poet, avid gamer, geek, and an anime and drama otaku. I am founder of Shin Seiki Zoku (新世紀族) - People Of The New Century - a 10+ year old suburban tribe currently thriving and cohabitating in Connecticut and New York.
