TBS has revealed that it plans to broadcast a drama adaptation of the Ryo Kurashina manga “Teio.” The show will star actor Takashi Tsukamoto (26), playing his first lead role in a series on a major commercial network.

The “Teoi” manga was serialized in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits magazine. The main character is a young man (Tsukamoto) whose girlfriend is taken away by the #1 host of a club. With his strong beliefs and power of friendship, he winds up also becoming a host, looking to challenge the title of #1 …
